

The area was once the site of Etruscan dwelling as testified by the numerous remains of settlements in the nearby area.
The Borgo can accommodate 4 or 6 people each apartment .
The Dolciano hill is overlooked by an elegant 18th century villa which gives on a splendid Italian garden. In the immediate vicinity there are the little towns of Chiusi and Chianciano of clear Etruscan origin. Chiusi was the capital of the Kingdom of the great king Porsenna. Spread all over the area there are well preserved tombs.
Paying your entrance ticket we invite you to discover the ancient world of Italian history by visiting the Chiusi museum (which offers you also a guided tour in the Etruscan tombs). Spread out over the surrounding area there are various other buildings, like old farms and stables, included an attractive little church beside the villa .
The Wine tuor: famous town of Montepulciano is only a few km far from Borgo Dolciano. It's a beautiful old town where you may enjoy yourself discovering all the extraordinary gurment world, taste the different excellent kind of local wines and other, from products like olive oil, honey, 'vinsanto', 'grappa' , wine etc.
